“I’ll stab a bitch in the eyeball if they even think about touching you.”
“I can put a shirt on, Jett.”
“No, I like it. It’s like my own little trophy.”
“Oh, really.” He grins down at her. “I’d like a taste of my trophy right now.”
Jett giggles like a schoolgirl as Kam lifts her up and throws her over his shoulder. He winces when his side hurts like fucking hell, but nothing will stop him from taking his wife for a second time on their wedding night.
Closing the door behind him, he throws her down on the mattress.
“Could you have picked any tougher dress to get fucked in?”
“I have to make something challenging with you, Mr. Sterling.”
Kam pulls down his pants and throws them and his boxers to the side. He doesn’t miss the fact that Jett watches his every move. He lies down on the bed next to her. “Now, it’s your turn. Give daddy a little show.”
Jett rises to her feet and begins the show. After several minutes of the most luscious strip tease of his life, Kam drags Jett down to him. She places her hands on his chest and gets ready to steady herself. Her extravagantly large diamond ring shines brightly.
“Oh, shit.”
“What?” Kam props up on his elbows as Jett flies from his body.
“Nothing.” He watches as she grabs something from the small purse she’s carried around all day.
Jett climbs back up on Kam and straddles him at the waist.
“I forgot to give this to you. I guess I was so entranced by our vows that I forgot.”
“What?” He smiles up at her.
Jett sits back on him, grinding her hips and searching for him. Kam smiles even wider knowing what the little shit is trying to do. He reaches down between them and guides his cock deep into her. Jett takes advantage of the position and begins riding him.
“Oh, fuck,” Jett moans out, interlacing her hands with his.
Kam feels a cold piece of metal slide down his ring finger, and when he looks up, a thick gold band stares back at him. He feels tears form and tries to hold them back as Jett grinds up and down on him, moaning out her pleasure. Kam brings his hands down, analyzing the ring. No way she could have…? He slides it off his finger and reads the inscription, and now the tears fall in earnest.
He doesn’t even try to hold back his orgasm and lets go at the same time Jett screams her release.
“It’s all downhill from here, boys.” Dax holds up his shot of whiskey to toast his brothers.
The four men sit in the business booth at Made To Sin.
“Cheers,” they repeat in unison as they down the whiskey at nine in the morning. Each brother picks up the next shot.
Kam holds his up first. “To empires and living out our dreams.”
“Cheers.” They clink glasses before they shoot the liquid.
Cole holds up his next. “Always as one. Together forever as Sterlings.”
“Cheers.” And yet another shot goes down.
Four remaining shots lay on the table, and all eyes are on Eli as he picks his up. He raises his shot glass high. “To us four brothers, our new family, this new club, and the next three on our map. Watch out Denver, Seattle, and Vegas. Sterlings are on their way.”
“Cheers.” The final shot goes down, and the men stand from the booth.
“This is a lot fucking harder than I thought it would be.” Cole places his hands on his hips and turns around, taking in the view of the club.
“Yeah, it fucking is.” Eli brushes a hand under his eyes.
“It’s like we’re leaving home again,” Dax adds.
“It’s time, boys.” Kam leads the men over to the main bar and passes each one of them a black Sharpie. This has been their ritual since the first Made To Sin club went up on the East Coast. The men have always cherished their inheritance from their parents and made sure to honor them by writing a quick note to them under the bar.
Eli kneels down first and begins to write.
Mom,
Thank you for everything. You’re a grandma now, and I’d give anything for you to be able to rock your namesake, sweet Martha, in your arms and sing to her like you did to me. Pop better be taking care of you up there.
Love, the baby of the family,
Eli
Eli steps back and watches Dax kneel and write his thanks.
Pop,
Your bonehead son settled down finally. Found a woman amazing enough to tame this wild soul. Thank you for allowing me to take this journey. You built a foundation for us boys, and I’ll never let your legend die. I love you.
Dax
Cole’s next and doesn’t take time to read his brothers’ notes.
Mom & Dad-
Well, we did it yet again. It was hell keeping the boys on task and focused, but we did it. Mom, you’d be so happy with all the new women in the family. Dad, I now understand your grunts of disapproval with Mom. Love takes patience, and I’m not sure I’ll ever understand that, even though it’s the one thing I want.
Cole
Kam kneels down and begins to write as his brothers sit behind him and watch.
I got married this week, Pops. I now wear a ring worthy of your praise, and I know it’s going to be a lot to live up to. But you were the best role model to a son the way you loved Mom until your last day. My Jett is everything to me. Thank you for bringing her into my life. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think of you two. Any willing, young, energetic adults crazy enough to adopt four asshole sons are worthy of god status. Love you both,
Kam
With their shrine complete, all four men rise to their feet and walk out of the club they’ve built from the ground up, from the branding to the design, with nothing but pride covering their faces and love filling their hearts.
A stretched Hummer limo waits for them in the parking lot. Kam opens the door and allows his brothers to climb in first. Chloe, Martha, Birdy, and Jett await the men on the inside. Next stop, Van Nuys, where the crew will fly out to Denver to meet up with the Bennett brothers and kick that project into gear, creating one more shrine to add to the very long list of Made To Sin clubs.
The new family drives in silence to the airport. They all know a new beginning is in order, but find it difficult to leave behind a past where so many memories were born. The limo comes to a stop and the family exits one by one, watching the driver and airport staff unload their baggage and pile it into their private jet.
Eli stands proudly holding his new baby girl in one arm and the love of his life on the other. The one woman he never thought would be brought back into his arms.
Dax swings Birdy around in the fresh morning air, causing her to squeal with joy, and his heart has never been in a better place.
Cole adjusts his wristwatch, calculating their arrival time in Denver and already planning the next step.
Kam drags his aviators down and pulls Jett in and gives her a long and hard kiss.
“Sorry, had to, Mrs. Sterling, for old times’ sake.”
“Isn’t there a saying with you Sterling boys?”
“What’s that?” he asks, titling his head to the side.
“The after-party never ends with you guys.”
“Fucking A.”
Eli’s family boards the plane first, then Dax and Birdy. Cole follows suit, and Kam brings up the rear with Jett. Everyone settles in on the plane. The flight attendant comes over the intercom to give pre-flight instructions.
Cole gazes out the window, giving one final thought to what could have been.
